Bible Study - Elijah and Elisha (17) - He Arose and Went For His Life

9/22/21 - Elijah hears of Jezebel's reaction to the mighty works of God, and her threat to kill him. Elijah is overcome of fear and depression and flees more than 100 miles from Jezebel.

During times of great darkness, deception, and wickedness God called and equipped two great prophets to service. By the power of God they wrought great miracles, including the first resurrections found in the Bible. They challenged the prophets of Baal, and boldly withstood the wicked kings and leaders of Israel. We pray the Lord will strengthen and encourage our hearts through the study of their lives.
