Bible Study - Elijah and Elisha (12) - Elijah Repairs The Altar of the Lord

8/11/21 - After the prophets of Baal finally give up on their God, Elijah calls the people near and begins repairing the Altar. Elijah takes 12 stones and builds an Altar in the name of the Lord, and digs a trench around the altar.

During times of great darkness, deception, and wickedness God called and equipped two great prophets to service. By the power of God they wrought great miracles, including the first resurrections found in the Bible. They challenged the prophets of Baal, and boldly withstood the wicked kings and leaders of Israel. We pray the Lord will strengthen and encourage our hearts through the study of their lives.
